Córdoba's only natural wine shop

Wines made with care, knowledge and guts. Market menus with seasonal ingredients—easy food to eat with your hands and lick your plate. Just a glass? Want something more? Flexibility is our ally and our most cherished place to inhabit: for us, life is improvised—or it isn't life at all.

Jugo's interior seen from the street at dusk: string lights, the long table, a bottle holding a sunflower and the wine shelves at the back

This started out as a wine shop and ended up as a table for 10 (or for two, or for twenty).

Jugo opened its doors on Plaza de San Andrés in 2017 as Córdoba's first natural wine shop. A family project on a very human scale. Every year since, we've changed, adapting creatively to the curious formulas of running a wine business; right now, the table is the boss.

Everything happens around it: tastings, cooking classes, dinners, exhibitions, readings and teachings. Some people come in for a bottle to go and leave with a glass in their hand. Three hours later, they walk out with a new friend and rosy cheeks.

What we serve is simple: living wines made by committed people, and simple, tasty, local food. At Jugo we practice radical hospitality. More and more we realize how important this care for people is to us.

Come on in, have a seat at our table!

Who's behind it

New York, Barcelona, an artists' residency in a mountain village and, since 2017, this shop. Over twenty-five years in the kitchen and one conviction: a good meal does not require explanation, only attention to detail and radical hospitality.

The natural winemakers of Andalusia

We're putting together a guide to the people who make these wines: who they are, where they are, and why they're worth a visit. We'll send it to you when it's ready.
